We Honor Mothers

“May 2023, Honoring Mothers"

We honor Motherhood.

“The natural state of motherhood is unselfishness. When you become a mother, you are no longer the center of your own universe. You relinquish that position to your children.” - Jessica Lange

Monthly Mantras and things to do.

Continuing the series on Mantras. Spring is in the air. Did you dance, step livelier? Spring is the time of regrowth. The Matras from last month encouraged you to refocus on growth.

As May is here, this is the perfect month to honor mothers. Whether you are a mother, grandmother, or just are motherly. This is your month. Let's not forget to honor our mothers and grandmothers as well.

Continuing the Mantras for 2023, I am making a plan for each day based on the book.

"My Head Knows...But My heart Still Hurts"

Each day can bring new emotions. Here are some mantras and exercises you can do every day to help you walk through the inner journey of healing. Some day you may not want to do anything. Commit to reading just one line of these exercises everyday it will only take thirty seconds, and it can help you walk through your day little by little. Self-care is so important while grieving and healing. If you don't take care of yourself, mind, body and spirit, this process will be more difficult.

Each month I will give you a suggested outline. Every day of the week there is a mantra or something to do. Practicing these things will help you breathe every day. Repeat and think about these mantras throughout the day.
