All Things Large and Small That Circle in My Head
Socrates said, “The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.”
I’ve been struggling on the topic to speak about this week. My mind was blank and yet filled with topics at the same time. My intention and purpose for Tuesday Talks is to shed some light if you feel you are in the dark. To let you know you’re not alone. I want to be able to touch your heart and spirit while you are growing and learning. To have the ability to meet you where you are in your journey. To make your day a little lighter if it feels heavy.
Here is what was rolling around in my head. I thought about discussing transformation. When we wake in the morning, we know not what the day holds. We have not yet lived this day. We practice gratitude for the new day in hopes to be able to adjust to situations placed in front of us.
I thought of talking about the spiritual paths we are on. They are unique to you. It is ours for the asking to see where we go and what unfolds.
I pondered speaking about spring time and rebirth. Comparing the new blossoms of the earth to the new adventure we are about to have. To have you consider for a moment, that anything is possible. Look at how a small tree breaks though the ground and even through the sidewalk and grows, nothing can stop it. The little tree pushes and pushes towards the light of the sun.
I thought of speaking about a podcast I listened to the other day on my drive to Maryland. The guest, while speaking about the death of his 7 year old son 32 years ago, said something so profound that I felt as though he was speaking directly to me. He said, “Love starts sometimes where the heart breaks.” This reminded me of the little tree breaking through the crack in the sidewalk. It grows through the break. He, of course, still heart broken, but he spoke with gratitude of how his life has changed since his passing. He spoke of all the people who crossed his path. Those who helped him and those he was able to help and show grace through grief. I thought speaking about all the good this father has done to honor his son. All the lives he has touched and people he has helped.
Another topic that rolled around in my head was to speak about the beautiful, emotional, healing I received at a group reading where spirit brought through so many messages and signs. There was no doubt that spirit was present.
I thought of speaking about the grief we’ve endured but the honor we have of telling their stories. Another quote I use frequently is “they never really dies as long as we keep telling their stories.”
I wanted to speak about Archangel Zadkiel, the Archangel of grace and forgiveness.
I aspire to find the words to say to everyone watching, words that will help heal the world one person at a time. But then the realization hits me as always, actions speak louder than words. To show you and pray that you know I care about each and everyone of you.
Sometimes these weekly messages flow and I give all the credit to God and Spirit. They know what you need to hear. They grace me with their prophetic word. The are the ones who have a spiritual intuition/vision; for trends, events and the situations that surround us. I ask, listen and write what I believe they are communicating to me in the hopes of it bringing meaning to all who listen or read this blog.
“The only true wisdom is knowing that I know nothing.” We know nothing of what is to come, it has not arrived yet. We adjust and learn from each adventure given to us making us wiser and stronger even when we feel weak. It is the hope and understanding that there is a plan in place. We are never truly alone in this lifetime or in our death. We are surrounded by spiritual beings, our loved ones who have gone before us. And when we make adjustment to live the life we live and live the life we love, we can figure out whatever comes our way through the adventures, grace and wisdom from those who have lived before us.
We have a great connection with them, now and forever.
Blessings
