What in the World do You want to Manifest: Steps for Manifesting
As I write this week’s blog, I am reminded that last week I had three ideas ready for the blog. I now know that I was preparing myself for this blog. I was preoccupied yesterday with a fun family day at Hershey Park. We got home late. I was tired and hot from an eventful day. I had no energy to write the outline for Tuesday Talks at 10:30 or today’s blog. All of a sudden, the realization that I had already credited it gave me peace to know that all things truly do happen for a reason. I had manifested a segment on manifesting without even realizing it.
Let’s dive into how to manifest and find your inner potential. We all have the need to grow, learn, evolve and manifest things in our lives. We see the reality behind the idea that we desire. For most of us our desires equal happiness.
To effectively manifest goals here are some things to do:
Clarify your goals. Start by making a list of things you want to accomplish. Goals can be right away or further in the future. They could include things like health, career advancement, financial security, better time management, diet, learning things maybe you want to learn a different language or how to dance, travel. The list could go on and on. Think about your inner potential and decide how the first goal you’d like to accomplish looks; how does it feel? Understand why you want to manifest this targeted goal. Finding clarity around the goal helps set you up for success. Asking yourself questions is a great way to really take a deep look into why they are important to you. What is the desire behind them? Are some of your answers, peace, happiness, self-worth, freedom? What will I gain when I accomplish this? What do you believe to be your inner potential before and afterwards. This question may take some thought, is this goal for me or for others? This is a question you want to be truthful about. If you have had outside pressure to achieve something, it may not be worth spending your time and energy on if it is not something you see for yourself. Are you moving towards something with this idea or are you running away from something? Ouch. Remember I said, be truthful with your thought process. This is clarifying and determining your goal.
Once you have clarity of the goal, time to set your intentions. Not only consciously but subconsciously as well. Keep your mind focused on the positive steps that need to be put into place. Visualize the actions and the outcome. Commit to spending “x” number of hours a day culminating, perfecting it and putting movement to achieving it. If doubt comes into your subconsciousness, change the direction back to the clarity you found in the first step. Place post notes up, create a vision board, meditate on the process and the outcome. Remove roadblocks from your mind, body and spirit. Don’t worry what others may think. You are in control of the idea, the action and the outcome. Why do we always worry what others will think? After all this is not their goal, passion, dream or reality. Ok, do I still have your attention, or have I lost you? If I’ve lost you, reread the last paragraph till it sinks in. Journal your thoughts, fears, motions and emotions.
Next, actions of love. How are you going to nurture this idea and yourself? What are your next steps? Are there books you can read for information, courses you could take, people you can network with? Commit to yourself that you will work hard even if you have to get up early or, in my case, stay up late to have time to chart your course. What fears are holding you back? Face them, walk through them and get rid of them. Here is where you need to have faith in yourself and in your idea. Really examine how much time you spend in front of the tv or on social media. This is time you could be putting into yourself. Are you creating obstacle internally? You have many strengths and many weaknesses. Change your mindset to use your strengths to strengthen your weaknesses. What do I mean by that? Let’s say you have a fear of public speaking. A lot of us do. I could use the old cliche and say imagine your audience in their underwear but ewe who wants to talk to half naked people? Am I right? Do a live on social medial or create a reel, record yourself on zoom. This will loosen up the willys you may feel within yourself. It may not completely get rid of them, but you’ve practiced, and you will get over this fear. Don’t let the fear win. If a thought comes into your head that starts with the words, I do not deserve, I cannot, others won’t, I will lose, I will fail, I could never… I’m sure you get the idea. Stop as soon as the idea pops in and change it to I deserve, I can, others will, I can’t lose, I will not fail, I will. I once did an experiment to see if I could stop myself saying can’t, won’t, shouldn’t; it was a difficult day. But I became aware of how many times I doubted myself. If you doubt yourself, you lose yourself. Give yourself permission to have faith in your abilities to become what you manifest. Journal your thoughts, fears, motions and emotions.
Wow. Look how far you’ve come so far. Give yourself a hand. You are doing great. Now, all you need to do is consciously send energy towards what you want to manifest. Look at it from all angles and see the energy needed to accomplish your goal. Even if you have to give up tv for a bit or miss a night out with friends to put time into educating yourself, YOU ARE WORTH IT. As you make time, time appears mainly because it becomes your passion to grow. Here is your word of the day, perseverance. Don’t give up. Giving daily energy to your goal will give you the results you are looking for. Be patient. Important dreams take time to create and manifest. This is your dream. Don’t give up on yourself. Be patient. Always, journal your thoughts, fears, motions and emotions.
And lastly, be faithfully accepting of the outcome. When asking for clarity in your goal be sure to say, “this or something better". Before you manifest something, have the understanding that God wants you to succeed. He may offer you something better along the way. This does not mean that you failed or quit. It means there were lessons to learn along the way for something greater. Again, journal your thoughts, fears, motions and emotions.
Here’s the deal. Life is a journey. It is your journey. The destination may bring up and downs, roadblocks that hold you back or short cuts that push you forward. Sometimes we pick up baggage that needs left behind. Keep your eyes open, your intentions pure with love and clarity for yourself and others connected to you. Invite the universe to bring great things to you. It has a lot to offer. Once you recognize these things, faithfully be willing to do the work. To create a life you love, so you can love the life you live.
Blessings to you actively manifesting the best world around you.
